Description

Blueberries aren’t just delicious but are also loaded with tons of antioxidants.  Depending on the variant they can be either evergreen or deciduous.  Even though blueberries don’t need to be watered often they do need to stay moist.  During the Summer season, 20-30mm of water per week will be sufficient.

This juicy fruit produces 6-8months during the year depending on your area.  Buds mostly start forming late in Summer to early in Autumn.  This popular fruit will flourish when grown in Canadian Peat moss and Pine Mulch mixed with well-drained soil.  Suitable for indoor or container planting.

Pruning requirements:  Fine lean pruning may be needed during the first 4 years however older plant branches will have to be pruned during Winter or after the fruit has been produced to encourage new growth and aid with air circulation and light penetration.

Used for: Cocktails, juices, syrups, salads, jams, desserts, sauces or fresh fruit.
