Description

Lemon verbena is a fast-growing, lemon-scented shrub that makes the perfect indoor or container plant.  It needs to be watered regularly in Summer and helps to keep midges, flies and other insects away.  It is used as a culinary herb and holds medicinal properties.

Avoid driving large amounts of its tea as it can cause gastric irritation.  Its essential oil may also be sensitive if used on your skin when exposed to direct sunlight.  This feature plant needs regular pruning to keep it compact and bushy during its growing season.
