Description

The Golden abelia is a superb choice for golden gardens or naturalistic gardens.  It has beautiful ornamental flowers that are slightly scented and attract hummingbirds and butterflies.  In warmer areas, it will thrive as an evergreen shrub and in colder areas as a deciduous shrub.

Abelia is a versatile shrub that can be used in flowerbeds, borders, containers and as a hedge or screening plant.  It is relatively wind resistant and can tolerate pollution.  It responds well to pruning and needs to be watered regularly until established and during hot seasons.
