Description
The Dragon fruit can be grown as an ornamental vine or as a fruit crop. It is a large cactus plant that has thick, succulent branches and is suitable for all gardens. Commonly known as White-fleshed pitahaya, this magnificent plant only blooms for one night during Winter and Spring.
The flesh of its fruit is white with tiny black seeds that are tasty and delicious in flavour. It is a high-maintenance plant that needs to be planted in an area that receives a minimum of 6 hours of sunlight daily. Can be used for indoor or container planting.
