Description
The Papaya plant has a shallow root system that is non-invasive making it perfect for planting near homes and driveways. It prefers sandy, loamy soil with a clay content of 15% to 30%, but can also tolerate clay content of up to 50%.
The papaya fruit also known as paw-paw is enjoyed by many and is easy to grow. It can be grown into an ornamental plant, pruned to bonsai and used for indoor or container planting.
