Description
Ananas comosus is a small tree or shrub that has leathery leaves and a short, sturdy stem. It is a tasty tropical plant with individual green to whitish, dark maroon flowers that join together to create more than one fruit.
Pineapples shrub attracts birds commonly hummingbirds, bees, butterflies and bats. It can also be grown as a houseplant as long as it is repotted on a yearly basis during Spring.
