Description

This deciduous tree with non-aggressive roots makes an excellent garden specimen.  It reacts well to pruning and can be shaped into a privacy or screening tree or dense thorny security hedge.

Its edible fruit and shelter attract a wide range of animals, birds, bees and butterflies.  Ideal for providing ample shade and is used as a focal feature in rock gardens.
