Description

This small to a medium-size tree is more often used as a thorny security hedge.  Its been reported to be poisonous but in all these scenarios the poison formation of prussic acid.

This spreading, deciduous tree produces white or yellow flowers in Winter and Spring and grows best in sandy, loamy, well-drained soil.
