Description

The almond tree is a striking medium size tall tree that is one of the earliest flowering stone fruits that produce fragranced, light pink to white coloured flowers.  It is also a great food source for wildlife.

It is known for its ornamental values and can be used as a hedge plant and for indoor or container planting.  Almond trees are prone to frost damage if not looked after and are resistant to bud damage and insects.

They can be planted alongside comfrey, flowers, herbs, stone fruits, mulberries, pawpaw, raspberries, and grapes.
