Description

A pioneer tree well-liked by bee farmers as it produces large amounts of pollen and nectar.  It makes a beautiful screening or hedge plant that may need a little pruning after flowering.

According to reports, the leaves can be used to treat coughs and colds and the roots may be used as a laxative. The false olive does not have invasive roots and can be grown in most soil types, but to improve its growth you can add compost.
